In five days we go from "Brock Lesnar has Mono", to "Brock Lesnars Career is Over!" to Brock Lesnar is home from the hospital after minor intestinal surgery.
Yup, thats all it took. 5 days, and MMA bloggers going all Day of Our Lives on the interwebs and the guy is parctically dead. Same thing happened to Kimo this year.
Hey, I know bloggers get a bad wrap for hanging out in their parents basement surfing porn and writing about sports they never played and athletes they will never know, but MMA BLOGGERS are like a combination of TMZ, 12 year old girls and the housewives of Orange County. Fueled by Mountain Dew. And with all this Hub-bub about the Lesnar situation, a few things have been missed.
One - Shane Carwin came out as a class act through this whole thing.
Two - We have a freaking WEC 44 EVENT to bet on Tonight!!! AND UFC 106 to bet on this Saturday!

Mike Brown has his first title defense tonight at WEC 44 against Brazilian striker Jose Aldo. Currently, the Champ is barely a favorite at -130, with Aldo coming in EVEN.
Former finalist on The Ultimate Fighter - Manny Gamburian - is back on this WEC card taking on another former UFC guy in Leonard Garcia. Garcia is currently sitting at -110 in the BetUS Sportsbook, with Gamburian a tight -120 favorite.

And of course, Saturday night is the "Land of Misfit Toys version of a UFC event, headlined (not at first anyways) but Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin II. A fight that was slapped together to sell a few tickets as a supplemental undercard matchup, but had to be bumped up due to injuries and pull outs.
So now we have a fight that, might be alot of fun, but means relatively nothing. Griffin (-145 Favorite) recently lost his light heavyweight title to Rashad Evans, and Ortiz (+115 underdog) is really just a big name, and not much of a significant threat to contend in the UFC title picture.
There are a few other "names" on the card but none really adding to the hype of a full scale UFC Pay Per View Card that was supposed to be a HW championship fight between Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar, with Ortiz originally fighting Mark Coleman.
Have a look at the entire UFC card and Odds here.
The undercard kicks off at 6:00 PM EST, so if you're looking to get in on the action, get to BetUS NOW!
